Ariens Commercial Mower Reconstruction
A customer reported multiple ongoing issues with an Ariens mower, including:
- Excessive blade wear
- Belt failures
- Bearing problems
- Bent rear plate damaging tyres
- Cracked deck around the blade assembly
After a full inspection and communication with the manufacturer, we carried out several custom improvements:
- Installed stronger, longer-lasting blades, which kept the balance of the deck better and reduced the vibration on the machine.
- Manufactured a heavy-duty Kevlar belt suitable for commercial use
- Tested multiple bearing types to achieve the perfect fit
- Replaced the bending rear plate with a durable rubber solution
- Reinforced the deck blade mounting area with welded steel plating
The modifications significantly improved reliability, reduced vibration, and eliminated recurring damage.

Cub Cadet Rear Discharge Conversion
A customer approached us with a Cub Cadet mower fitted only with side discharge. Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not offer a rear discharge option, and debris from the side chute was causing repeated damage.
We redesigned the discharge system by:
- Modifying the deck back plate
- Sealing the side discharge chute
- Adjusting the blade discharge direction
- Testing the machine for safe operation
The result was a safer and more practical machine without the cost of purchasing a replacement mower.

Ransomes MP493 Batwing Mower Improvement
A customer brought in a nearly new Ransomes MP493 batwing mower with repeated deck damage caused by the sharp edges of the wing bumper rails.
After assessing the issue, we redesigned the bumper edge profile by rounding the rail ends to reduce impact damage during operation near kerbs and obstacles.
Since the modification, the customer has reported no further issues.
Commercial Repair Contracts & Subscriptions

- Twice weekly

- We assess your machinery fleet and agree which machines are covered under the contract.
Repairs can be completed:
- On-site
- Or by collection and return from our workshop
- Machines collected for repair are returned during the next scheduled visit.
- Common service parts can be stocked at our depot on request.
- Special-order repair parts are sourced as required.
- A tailored quotation is prepared for your approval.
- Initial payment covers the first and final month of the agreement, followed by monthly payments thereafter.
- Contracts can be cancelled with one month’s notice or adjusted to a pay-on-account arrangement.
